The size is UK 12 which IS a USA size 8. This sparkling dress is a 20s style British sexy form fitting dress. The fabric is Viscose and the lining is Polyester, Stretchy. You pull on this dress, or pull over. It is short sleeve and a mini dress. MEASUREMENTS approx. when laid flat: I am measuring the lining slip because the over dress stretches. Across the back from arm pit to arm pit approx 17" (Bra size should be 33 - 34) Waist approx. 16" flat or 26" - 30" around Hips approx. 17" or 34" - 35" around Length of crochet dress from Shoulder seam to hem is approx. 32" This could be worn for a formal occasion, to a cocktail party, as a guest to a wedding, or any fancy occasion.
