Genuine blue Larimar beautiful teardrop shape stone set in sterling silver. Stunning handcrafted ring. Known as a healing stone. The large stone on this ring is bright with a high sheen & natural inclusions indicating a high quality piece of Larimar. Tagged size 9 but measures just under that on my ring sizer. Larimar is a rare variety of blue Pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic. Currently the Larimar mine remains closed driving up the value. Why is Larimar so special? Blue pectolite is from the Domincan Republic and is unique because of its color and rarity and also because it is found in cavities of serpentinized ultramafic rocks (a special rock that does not fit into the three common categories of rock).
