Blk Metal Mesh Tiny Lined Bag 7x5x2 strap 19” long w/zipper closure. Circa 1970’s (disco era). Made by Whiting & Davis Int’l. One owner/barely used. Fashion collectible. Perfect condition inside/out! (Jenny wears a Whiting & Davis mesh scarf in Forrest Gump.) The company originated in 1876 as the Wade-Davis Co. but became famous for handbags after Charles Whiting joined the firm. Mr. Whiting designed the first mesh bag in 1892.
