Blenko Azure Blue Paper Bag Vase Handcrafted This item is known for its disstinctive "paper bag" shape, featuring pinched rim. This vase is a vibrant Azure Blue color, a signature color for Blenko Glass. These vases are considered collectable art glass pieces and are often sought by collectors of mid-century modern (MCM) and Blenko glass. Blenko glass is known for being truly handmade in West Virginia, and some pieces may still retain their original labels or have a pontil mark on the bottom indicating the hand-blown process. As you can see in the last picture, this vase has the pontil mark and also has a Blenko stamp on it with date. This item is very beautiful and would look great in any collection.
