Black Sleeveless Midi Dress with Belt

This top is part of a collection of maternity clothes worn in 1985 and 1986 when my mom was pregnant with me! Classic black sleeveless midi dress featuring a square neckline and a matching belt for a flattering fit. There is no tag or evidence of tag in the dress so it may be handmade. The fabric feels like a wool blend and the size is estimated at M/L Back zipper closure for easy wear. Versatile style that can be dressed up or down. Ideal for casual outings, work, or semi-formal events. This piece has been in storage for 40 years. To prepare it for sale it was washed once with Tide-Oxi Boost detergent and vinegar (to reduce any "vintage" musty odors). It was then hung on a hangar to dry.
