It is not that cold in Houston, Texas so I only wore it once and realized I shouldn’t have purchased it. My loss is your gain! The ear flaps fabric feel like cashmere although I don’t know this for certain but Sakowitz is a premier furrier in Houston so it wouldn’t surprise me! I took some measurements for you. The height of the crown from the brim is 6 1/2”. The opening measures 7 7/8”. And the stitched down cuff is 4”. I’m sure hope somebody can use this hat that’s been stored in a hat box safely away.
