pixiekendall @joange hard to tell, I've used it only twice as a weekender bag so I would say about 40-50lbs? Couple pairs of shoes and some outfits. The Leather seems pretty durable so I would say it's more about how much weight you want on your shoulders ;)

pixiekendall @joange yes, it's hard to measure those. The front pocket is about an inch wide and runs across the total length of the bag
