@debbigoforth is this the dress you are referring to? It is similar but not a full length gown. This one falls just slightly near the calves. I do believe it will be full enough for a short petticoat.

I think u said u didn't even notice the shoes at first, so, it seems as if you negotiated this price without even factoring in the shoes. Sorry, I would love to work with you, but I can't sell my dress at $50.
