Black Ceramic Bowl Pot w/Blue Squares Geometric Signed Vtg MCM Blackware Native?

Vintage studio art pottery bowl or vase. This pot is black ceramic with a matte finish on the exterior. Asymmetrical lip, and geometric design on the exterior featuring cream, orange-red, and light blue squares with a shiny glaze. It measures about 5 inches tall, 6.5 inches wide at its widest. This unusual design reminds me of both Midcentury-Modern Scandinavian silhouettes, and Native American ceramics. I am unsure of its origin and age, though it seems to be well made. Signed on the underside, but due to the stylized nature of the signature Im not sure what letters are represented here. Possibilities include mp, np, ump, unp, dun, dw.
