Black Blazer Wool Appliqué Design Two Button Closure VINTAGE Retro I picked this up at an estate sale, and I was told that it was vintage however, I was not able to get any other information. There is no printed tag. I don’t know if this is handmade, if it is, it was very well done. The contrasting fabric appears to be a lighter black so in some light it looks almost green. There is a definite Nordic appeal to it. The wool fabric is textured, almost like a boiled wool, the type that will need to be lint rolled regularly. The design of the pockets looks like a crown to me. The back pattern seems a little bit western rockabilly. Very unusual. As there is no size, I have listed as a medium based on fit and measurements. I would say it’s around a 6. The original owner had hemmed the sleeves, and when doing so she opened up the seam. It has been noticeably repaired, but only if you look for it, and certainly not to anybody seeing you in it. I did release the folded hem.
