Black Agate Chalcedony Onyx Stone Knotted Beaded Long Vintage Mourning Necklace

This listing is for a very long, black vintage, unsigned necklace. According to the Rock Identifier app, they are black Agate, also known as black chalcedony, or black onyx. In ancient times Onyx was believed to have a demon imprisoned within that would awaken at night, sowing discord, especially between lovers. Nowadays, strength-giving Onyx is a protective stone for dark nights and lonely places. It is a single strand measuring approximately 54" long, easily doubled or tripled, with a knot in between each 8mm bead. There is not a clasp. They are heavy and cold to the touch, but warm up quickly. They are the perfect set of mourning beads. I will include a velvet dust bag for storage. Buy with confidence careful packaging promised.
