To pay tribute, we teamed up with one of the mainland’s original importers of Hawaiian print fabric, Hoffman California Fabrics, to build a pair of board shorts heavy on Aloha spirit. A limited edition, the 311 Aloha Board Short is a medium-length version of Mrs. Birdwell’s original design, upgraded with a 100% cotton lining made from an original Hoffman print. They also come with a little surprise — when they get wet, the SurfNyl™️ outer layer goes transparent, and you can see the festive pattern underneath. Hand cut and sewn by expert craftspeople in Southern California, with a simple button fly and an adjustable tab closure, these mid-length shorts are rough, tough, and ready to party.
