Has a fitted removable lid, cverticsl carvings on one side all done in beautiful bird’s eye maple. Smooth finish in what I believe is a semi gloss. I am no expert in this type of art, just thought it was lovely and unique. Does have protective felt on the bottom. I find no flaws in the box but see pictures for all information. Will be packaged carefully in a box for safe delivery.
