kraszka33 @gabriellaspauld no worries. Thanks for the response. Yes, I’d want to be sure of that. Sadly, I’ve purchased this dress new for a wedding in in a week, spent money on alterations but the 8 is just too snug so I’m hoping the 10 is better. But if the 10 has been altered I’d be worried it would be close to the size of the 8…. I appreciate you checking. How many days shipping do you usually do?

gabriellaspauld @kraszka33 okay. I don’t see any obvious alterations. I took some measurements and maybe you can compare with what you have. The pit to pit is 17 inches. I’ve added pictures above with how I took the measurements for that. The length is about 54 inches. There’s also one small spot by the bust line I didn’t notice before. It’s not bad though.

gabriellaspauld The waist is also about 15 inches. Let me know what you think. If your current dress zips up but just fits snug, this could be a safe bet. But if it doesn’t zip maybe try and seek out a 12. Evening wear you normally have to go up a size or 2 which is confusing and weird.

gabriellaspauld @kraszka33 that’s a bummer. Maybe you can try measuring a dress that’s similar that you have to get an idea of what your numbers normally are. But do what works for you! I hope something works out!
