This vintage Mid-1900’s black leather purse bag by Bienen-Davis is a classic accessory for any formal occasion. Founded in New York City in 1931 by Herbert Bienen and Edwin Davis, Bienen Davis merged American design with Italian craftsmanship and soon found their bags on the sets of movies and televisions shows, worn by some of Hollywood’s most iconic stars, and included in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Made of high-quality leather, this original piece is a must-have for any collector. The gold tone hardware adds a touch of elegance to the bag, while the one handle makes it easy to carry.
