This antique salad plate was produced by Beyer & Bock of Volkstedt, Thuringia, Germany, circa 1905–1920. Known for their fine porcelain and hand-painted artistry, Beyer & Bock operated under the Royal Rudolstadt mark and exported widely during the early 20th century.
The plate measures approximately 8½ inches in diameter and features a hand-painted grapevine design in rich autumnal tones. The artist’s signature, “Stein,” appears near the lower edge of the composition. The rim is finished in gold paint, which shows gentle rubbing consistent with age, particularly at the top. The plate is in good antique condition with no chips or cracks—an elegant example of turn-of-the-century German decorative ware.
