Betsy & Adam Dramatic Mermaid Off Shoulder Dress Midnight Blue 12 Size: 12 (meant to be fitted) modeled on 6/8 dress form -will most likely fit 8/10 comfortably- size 12 snugly - see measurements Condition: very good, no noted flaws 1950s style dramatic wiggle mermaid dress in a fabulous stretchy blue shot black fabric with swag pleating detail down the front and back centre seams, a swag front on the super-wide mermaid skirt, and a fabulous geometric off-shoulder pleated crossover bodice that winds around to the back. There are stretchy covered shoulder straps attached underneath the collar by crochet strings to hold the dress on the shoulders. There is a lining in the bodice to the waist. The dress is form fitting through the waist and hips, and then at the knees it flares into a beautiful wide mermaid skirt. The dress has a centre back zipper. The design has such flow, from the swag shape of the wide off-shoulder collar to the swag pleating and draping down the front and back centre seams to the swag front centre to the mermaid skirt.
