*Description: This is a great pair of Edgar Berebi large enamel post earrings from the 1980s. The earrings are in gold tone with a bronze and brown textured enamel top half and a smooth black enamel bottom half of each earring. The center is a teardrop shape with pave clear rhinestones inside. Each earring has two additional rhinestones, one on each side. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
Edgar Berebi’s jewelry trademark began in 1979 and ended in 2001. Produced in limited edition, his designs are highly collectible. Berebi graduated from the Pratt Institute of Art, Design and Architecture. After graduating, Berebi founded his jewelry company in 1979. At first, he created filigree design earrings and brooches, which he produced in limited series. Then, he designed home decor items and accessories of the highest quality. According to Berebi, he found inspiration in the works of Faberge.
