This beautiful, vintage bone china demitasse set is from the Tea Rose Yellow pattern of Royal Albert, which was produced in England beginning in the 1940's.  This classic pattern, which is known for its elegant, feminine aesthetics, is highly prized by collectors. The design features delicate yellow roses with green foliage on a white background. The scalloped edge is accented with gold for an additional touch of elegance. This pattern has often been used to celebrate special occasions or for afternoon tea parties. It would also make an excellent addition to any vintage collection. This set consists of: (6) Demitasse cups that measure 3.25" x 3" high (6) Demitasse saucers that measure 5" (1) Small creamer that measures 3.75" from spout to handle x 3.25" hig (1) Small open sugar bowl that measures 3.25" in diameter x 2" high Three saucers have a black back stamp with no pattern name. This type of back stamp may indicate that the piece is older and was manufactured before the pattern was given an official name.  Pieces with this back stamp are generally considered more valuable and more collectible.
