Beautiful vintage 1950s wool scarf with fringe in excellent condition

Beautiful vintage (1950’s) scarf, in a herringbone weave in the color ivory with fringe, in excellent condition has been stored in a cedar closet for many years. It looks as if it was hand knitted, not sure if it was or not. The tags say made in Italy, laine and Christian Dior-echarpes. Size is approximately 37 inches long and 12 inches wide. an exquisite piece to own they do not make them like this anymore or not of this quality
