Beautiful miniature picture

This little picture is so beautiful! I have to admit I dont know the cultural or religious meaning behind it, if any. It is of a bare chested woman who appears to be Indian or middle eastern. She has on what I assume to be a traditional nose piercing, and jewelry. Veil and clothing and plays some sort of flute instrument to a couple of antelope. The picture appears to be colored by a background of various colored sands. I'm in awe.
