Beautiful handmade hard wood bowl and lid

Absolutely beautiful hand made hard wood bowl with lid. It looks like one of kind as there are no markings on it. It shows various patterns of the color of the wood and it is eye catching. It measures 4 inches tall and has a 4 inch wide opening at the top. The lid fits the top of bowl perfectly as it has a rim that sits in the bowl. The inside is clean and is some what rough. That leads me to believe that it was meant to be used for a salt container for baking or something close to it. We had one of these when I was going up on the farm. However, I'm perplexed by the felt on the bottom that is perfectly placed. I'm not sure if this was a service piece why it would have felt on it. Aside from that the inside is clean except for a mark of green. Looks like a crayon mark. The inside also shows the various colors and pattern of the wood. What an interesting conversation piece this would make. Reference: Toy Chest 2
