Beautiful Vintage 1950s 1960s Raw Silk Shell Top with Incredible Detailing

This top is fantastic! I bought it from Xtabay Vintage in Portland and wore it with everything from faded blue jeans to Chanel suits! It’s beautiful, has incredible detailing, and is endlessly versatile. Top features: Back button closure, 5 functional, all self covered Incredible stitching detail on the front Sleeveless High quality raw silk in a creamy color, it’s definitely NOT white No lining Bust darts Boxy fit/cropped length Two snaps, one at the very top, and one behind the bottom button (see photo) There aren’t any tags, I was told when I bought it that was French, but I don’t know if that’s the case or not. Top is in very good vintage condition showing little evidence of wear. There are no stains, pulls, or odors. There is a small section at the bottom of the armhole where it appears to have been mended/reinforced. It doesn’t show when worn unless you keep your right arm straight up in the air. Measurements are of the garment itself, and the fabric is not stretchy so please leave room for your body to move!
