Beautiful Hand Carved Knobbit with Candle or Incense Holder Signed and Dated

So whimsical and cute. Vintage hand carved Knobbit with a place for a candle or incense holder. I WOULD NOT BURN a candle or incense in this because it is carved from cypress knees and you could burn the piece. I think it was meant to be just a holder. It measures 9 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide across the bottom. This is in great shape as it looks like it has been well taken care of. I see no issues. It is a neat conversation piece and from a time when things were made by hand. It is from Knobbits Wood Carving Bob and Lil Evans Dated: 8-18-08 Original price in 08 was $43.00 Knobbits were invented by Robert Edward Evans whose carvings were one of kind throughout his life. Knobbit means bearded men. He made 3 different versions of bearded men. He was originally from Scranton, PA born 7 Apr 1933 and died in Pembroke, Virginia 9 Jul 2021.
