Stunning Vintage Asian Motif Black Laquer Jewelry Box with Inlaid Mother of Pearl of a vase with a cherry blossom among other stunning details. Hardware is also very pretty silver tone metal - even the rear hinges have a floral design to them. The latch base plate is missing so the latch does not connect to anything but if the box is on a flat surface it will remain shut. Interior features beautiful red velvet lining in both the top compartment as well as the two drawers. There is wear to the wood on the base and some on the corners as shown in the photos. Ultimately a great deal and makes a cool vintage holiday gift for jewelry lovers or collectors alike. Approximate measurements: 7.5” x 5” x 3.75” including the base depth.
