Beautiful 50s Leather Purse

Beautiful 1950s exotic leather purse. Believe it is a Sterling purse but markings have rubbed off. Purse has some condition issues. First off strap has "break" in it. Not all the way through but larger is weak. One side has some keather rubbed off. Leather otherwise is a beautiful maybe alligator skin? Beautiful style. Has sputnik like topper to open bag. Great orange Leather inside in good shape. Wish it was more pristine but still a good piece for someone who could fix or live a well loved vintage purse 😀
