This Marcelle Dulac piece is simply awesome! Burgeoning ANTIQUE! Condition is good; there are a few small inclusions on the piece, but nothing that compromises the integrity of the art; pictures are an accurate depiction of condition. It is made from a heavy, dense clay, and the finishing glazes are so rich! Marcelle Dulac was a sort of Renaissance artist in New York in the 1920s-1940s; he focused mainly on painting and photography, but also dabbled in pottery and sculpture from time to time. This dark blueish-black and turquoise idol vase/ face jug is substantial and weighty. She looks to have been created using a potter's wheel as well as some hand-sculpted features....she has wonderful character! This piece measures about 10.5" tall and 9.25" across (measured ear to ear) Please feel free to message us about this piece! We will ship outside the US, please message us before purchase to get shipping quotes!
