Scammers don’t just try to sell you fake bags. They also buy from the fake sites to rip you off for big bucks. They buy for pennies on the dollar and charge you up to $100 for items that slave labor and even child labor made. Be a smart shopper and always google image search your items and scan the bar codes! You don’t want lead toys or soap full of carcinogens, for real! And you’re getting ripped off.
Things to look out for:
- things described as luxury with no brand
- handmade with no proof of it being handmade or “made in the USA,” with no branding, trademark, manufacturing details or patent number listed (again scan the barcode)
- blatantly inspired by trademarked items
- cheap quality once it arrives
- items described as vintage but arrive clearly new
