tulumdreams @sueaber2 Hi! Yes, they are real quail eggs. I bought them in Thailand. They love making hair barrettes out of unusual things...chili peppers, gumdrops, lemon wedges. All are preserved in epoxy or shellac or whatever they use to lacquer them with. These are little quail eggs that were blown and then lacquered. The coloring is natural.
