Baroque Faux Pearl Necklace Gilt Scroll Chain by Stephanie Lake Design Vintage

This fabulous baroque faux pearl necklace was made by Stephanie Lake Design back in 2009. Dr. Stephanie Lake (the fifth scholar to earn a PhD in Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture), is also known the caretaker of The Bonnie Cashin Archive, and author of the monograph, "Bonnie Cashin: Chic Is Where You Find It". Made from scrolling metal work and vintage baroque faux pearls, this bespoke necklace combines pieces gathered from Lake's years of curating and collecting. A definite statement piece. Preowned/vintage, the faux pearls show some discoloration (as they were found) and the metal work shows some patina. It measures 14in L and is signed Stephanie Lake.
