The Barbour Classic Bedale is the most timeless jacket for fall. Barn jackets and field jackets never went out of style but they’re currently having a moment. This crossover between J.Crew and Barbour features the same Sylkoil wax cotton in a lighter 4oz and a slightly more tailored fit than the original classic bedale (it doesn’t quite resemble the Beadnell though). Plaid lining and snaps for adding on the hood.

Hi! Does it need to be reproofed/rewaxed?

@maggierose78 Because it’s a jcrew version, it’s not Sylkoil (it’s a lighter weight wax and therefore jacket) so I’m actually not sure how frequently it needs to be rewaxed! I can look into it.

@maggierose78 I looked into it more and the suggestion is once a year for frequent use so i’d suggest rewaxing since I haven’t done it since purchasing. But I only wore it once or twice. Can consider that in any offers.
