NWT - Mattel’s Holiday Angel Barbie Doll Collector Edition 2000, also known as Mattel #28080. This doll is part of the popular Holiday Angel Collection. This Barbie doll is designed as a beautiful angel, wearing a stunning ensemble. Her angelic gown features an ivory shirred bodice with puffed sleeves, a royal blue full skirt embellished with golden braid trim, and a sheer white underskirt revealed when the blue skirt opens in front. She is adorned with shimmering golden highlights and comes with delicate golden wings, a golden stole that swirls around her, and a shining golden halo, completing her angelic look. Released in 2000, this doll is a Collector Edition, meaning it was produced in limited quantities primarily for adult collectors. It is the first doll in the "Holiday Angel" series. Note that there was also a second doll in the series from 2001, which is sometimes mistaken for a variant of this one. A doll stand is included. The box has a blue hard plastic top imprinted with Barbie Collectibles and also Mattel. This has not been opened and has some storage wear, mainly on the clear plastic at the center right edge, as well as a few scuffs about the box.
