Originally bought this cross body / messenger bag to carry a laptop. The leather is very soft. It's more of a mustard yellow. Shows some wear in the bottom corners and slight tarnishing on the hardware. Inside the front pocket has a small pink stain, not visible at all from the outside. Comes with original dust bag, where it has been stored when not in use.

fashanatic @jwasson84 the very obvious flaw in the front pocket is nail polish - totally not visible from outside as I listed the pic. Then inside the main compartment is a slight discoloration again not visible from outside.
