amandapegleg @macaylalandi There are no issues with the zipper. This coat is in excellent condition. I have worn this coat in 40 degree temps and it was warm enough so it really depends on the harshness of the winter. The fabric is polyester which is good for keeping warmth in and moisture out but it isn't super thick. It is also fully lined. Hope this helps 😊
