maresaddiction @oratorio Hi again - is this a warm sweater, or a lightweight one? And does it button in front, or do you just have it pulled together?

oratorio @maresaddiction Hello. I would say that it is in between with regards to the warmth. Definitely not a heavy or thick sweater, so more lightweight in that way, but not a sheer weight for a super hot day. Hopefully that makes sense. :) It does not button up, and would need to be pulled together or just left open for a casual look. Please let me know if you have any other questions. maresaddiction @oratorio Yep! I don’t look at the ‘LIVE’ shows, so I wish I could filter them out of my feed because they really obscure the other notifications. Just one last question: I’m thinking of this for my sister, who measures 33” in the bust—exactly the same as the sweater. Do you think she’d need more room in order to fit right if she wore a sweater underneath it?

oratorio @maresaddiction I totally agree. It fills everything up so quickly that it becomes hard to figure out where I left off! I bet they will come up with something that works a little easier in the future. Hopefully so! 😊 It will be just a little bit before I can do some measurements, but I will measure myself and then try it on to see what it looks like. Were you thinking that your sister might be wearing something loose or more form fitting underneath sweater-wise?

maresaddiction @oratorio Nothing oversized, but not tight, either. Just so there’s enough room for a sweater underneath and enough material in front to sort of hug it around yourself. The main thing would be that there’s enough room across the back, but not so it looks like she’s standing in a carton! lol She is ALWAYS freezing!

oratorio @maresaddiction I measured myself and I'm around 34" in that area, so it fits me a little tighter around the bust, although I can still pull the sweater ends together to kind of close it. I do believe that the design of the sweater however, is more of a sweater blazer as opposed to something pulled closed. I tried it on and don't see it working with a sweater underneath. More of something that she could wear in the spring or the summer with a nice light short sleeve shirt.

oratorio @maresaddiction The collar wants to be folded and the ends of the sweater as well to create a kind of lapel look that you just leave open rather than closing. That's not to say that you couldn't, but it is more of a fitted sweater blazer than an oversized that you would bundle up in. I hope that that makes sense to you. I do have an Athleta brand sweater for sale in my closet that is something that she could definitely wear another sweater underneath. It is very warm, but still has a nice shape.

oratorio What I meant to say that the beginning regarding the collar is that I am not saying that you couldn't pull the sweater closed, but it is fitted enough that for me at least, it didn't really work closed. My frame might be larger though, so it could fit her more loosely. I can't say for sure.

But she’s so cold all the time, she wears her coat in the house! 😂 So she probably needs a heavy sweater that’s like a bathrobe so she can make a cocoon out of it. 🤣

maresaddiction @oratorio Awww, you are so kind! I love buying her clothes because she’s so thin it’s like dressing a little doll, and I’m good at picking stuff she likes and that looks good on her. I thought of sewing in a single snap right where you overlapped it, but I’m dithering on that. Well, I’ll think on that. You’ve been so kind - thank you so much!
