hempest @shopchange all silk can be hand washed or machine washed…in a gentle cycle w gentle, or natural, detergent, & if not a front loader use a lingerie bag so it’s not twisted. I don’t even always use a gentle cycle. I also use low heat in the dryer because it’s softer than air drying.

hempest @shopchange every so often, before drying, swish around in a white vinegar & water mix to restore luster. I’ve restored numerous thrifted silk items, w dry cleaners tag still attached, that were more crispy than silky from cleaning chemicals. Have loads of silk & haven’t harmed ANY!
