The jacket’s material was *not* cut when that happened, so it can be returned to its regular size by a capable tailor.*** The sleeve buttons are functioning buttons (not just faux buttonholes like many jackets), so they can be opened or closed! This jacket is in excellent condition; it has only been worn a couple of times. Selling to downsize and because for my husband, the sleeves are just a touch too long. It was better just to sell it than to have all the buttons moved around and sleeves shortened. This is a quality piece that will easily go from the office to a date night and pairs well with several colors of pants.
