okay I told you I would reach out to you so I thought if I don't do it right now I'll forget. so I haven't been on for 3 weeks for two-fold reasons. One is I've been ill but now I am a little bit better. The second reason is I'm watching people with all these problems with Poshmark and it just makes me not want to sell. so I did my first show in a long time on Thursday night and then I did one last night. My first show on Thursday was with a girlfriend I just met here in O'Fallon.

then I did a show last night and I sold just like I normally do nothing different even though I had fallen right before I started my show. I was dying but I was just as silly and just my normal self and I didn't sell one item for 4 hours. and yet when you go into these raid trains everybody's spending hundreds of dollars. Well guess what That's why they're not buying from the little guys. they are buying and spending all their money on these raid trains.

Open bins knows what they're doing. they are getting new buyers for their products at the expense of us smaller jewelry sellers and buyers here. they get our sellers to promote their items. I really don't think people are going to these shows with their eyes open. The items our girls are selling are amazing. however they are also taking some big hits and losses on some of these items because they're starting everything at $5.

I love everybody that's doing these shows and so I've been watching but I haven't been able to buy so I've been analyzing. there's a reason that they started these raid trains in the jewelry community. they needed new buyers. who wouldn't want to sell to 300 people. these girls deserve every penny they make. I love each and every one of them and still watch all their shows. I just hope that someday that they find out they have lost money.

I just want to sell things the way I want to sell them I don't want to promote somebody else's products. I'm not into that. I don't like to start my stuff at $5 and then somebody only $5 and I take a humongous hit.

The accountant in me will not let me do that. so I'll just continue at my pace at my type of show and maybe eventually are buyers will come back to us. but right now they don't have money to spend with us because they're spending their money on these big train shows. so if we do a show don't get discouraged if nobody buys. I'm not going to. I was a little bit for a few minutes last night that I did not sell anything for 4 hours. I got past it.

I'm going to do a show possibly on Tuesday with my new girlfriend. we're going to go out to her booth and maybe do a live from there on Tuesday. I'm not sure we'll do one we will see. We're going to try to do a show a week together. The banter is fun and I think people like shows where there is banter between the co-hosts. we have to find a new gimmick. I think the share shows are a great thing. it's great for both the host and also for the audience.

I don't have anything personally against the open bins people. they are smart people. they know what they're doing and they have every right to pursue a new audience. they seem very nice. The shows can be a lot of fun and entering into their freebies is kind of fun to see if you'll win an iPad or you'll win a Stanley cup or whatever else they're running so that's kind of fun. so I'm not against the people themselves

I just wish that it was not affecting all the rest of us so negatively. every show I go into their sales are just down. these are the people that are big time sellers. they have great prices and great products. if you feel like reaching out to me please do. everybody that might read this post just know that it is the real world out there guys. I do love our community and I truly have built some great friendships. so this is not an attack on anybody.

@tonyakillough I haven’t gone live solo in a while. Summer has been really busy for me. I have been enjoying cohosting in other shows. These are not shows that would be affected by the trains so I can’t speak on that. Some nights are great, some aren’t. But I’ve been selling things other than jewelry. I have been in some share shows that do great. I enjoy that far more than a solo show. Some of my shows have been painful to get through when no one is talking to me.
