Badgley Mischa Silk and Crepe Mixed Media Cocktail Dress - Size 4 - NWOT

This dress is way more beautiful and classy than these photos make it seem. The top is a satiny silk, while the skirt is more of a crepe texture - they are dyed the same color, but contrast a little due to the different material surface. The color is NOT PINK, it is more of a deep muted rose. I will try to get better lighting to show the true color in future photos. The length from shoulder to waistline, makes this dress better suited for a taller person, or someone with a longer torso. I bought this to wear to a corporate cocktail party, but ultimately didn't wear it because of the waistline hitting too low on my body (5'3"). I had planned to wear this for New Year's Eve, but it would also be a great dress for cocktail parties or weddings. The fabric, quality of craftsmanship, and style are lovely. There is a hidden zipper and the bodice and skirt are fully lined. The top of the dress has is flowy, while the bottom is fitted. Great for all body types. Even though the skirt is more fitted, the fabric is substantial enough that you don't see every ripple and bump underneath. It hit just below the knee on me.
