You can only feel it with your fingernail, it’s smooth if you run your finger over it. See last photo I believe it’s not very noticeable from the top because the base is beveled, not flat. Each candle holder is stamped/ etched with Baccarat France on the bottom My photos might look the same but are taken of each side. The video only focuses on the scratch on the bottom. * no original box Personal note My mom is the original owner and doesn’t think she actually burned candles with them. Years ago they were displayed on the dining room table (even with the tan velvet discs on the bottom) but now stored. She’s just holding onto them because they’re part of her “Baccarat Collection” but would love for someone to cherish and show them off.
