Buyer beware!!! If you see a description and photos matching this sweater, it is a fraudulent listing. This seller under the name @eoughzdelisle accepted my offer and now is trying to ship the same limited edition “6 of 150” item and pocket my money. They have been relisting the sweater under different usernames. PSA to check profiles and make sure the person is a longtime user with legitimate ratings!!! UPDATE: per my last comment and USPS, this ‘package’ was delivered long ago but I never received anything in my mailbox as indicated. Thankfully Poshmark cancelled my order in time, so I was able to receive a refund. Sellers automatically get dispersed earnings after 72 hours if a buyer doesn’t take action (fyi for folks that leave town). Don’t let these sh*theads take your money, and report them!!!

leafs22 Thank you for posting this @californiatreat It's not just this item but multiple high priced Filson items including jackets and blankets. BUYER BEWARE. To be safe stick with sellers that have a history on Poshmark until they can get a handle on the numerous "Criminals" with fraudulent listings. I'm sure it is happening with other brands as well. Be Careful.

californiatreat @leafs22 thanks so much for your insight! This buyer has marked this item as ‘shipped’, and I am very much curious of what’s going to appear on my or maybe a neighbor’s doorstep. It’s unfortunate because there is a trustworthy community of poshers and these folks are really ruining the platform. I also hope Poshmark can provide more support for the buyers that get entangled in these fraudulent listings. Right now, they are not at all helpful.

tnbunk This has been happening a lot with Patagonia listings, too. I’ve been flagging fraudulent listings every time I see them, but it doesn’t seem like much is being done.

pzexperience @californiatreat im sorry about this crap. I didnt realize that the funds are released after 72 hours. I love Filson and unfortunately there are so many fake posts on here. I bought a bag two weeks ago and the seller never even shipped it.

Well good news is after a lot of reportinf, poshmark just refunded me. “Hi Some, We wanted to let you know that order # 6170c92e0f00c3f7f47b2116 for "Filson Cowichan Flying Geese Sweater Limited" was canceled. We canceled the order for the following reason(s): Poshmark is unable to validate the seller or their listings…”

leafs22 @californiatreat @pzexperience also, if they will manipulate the shipping label, then send a worthless item to a different name and address, if the item is eventually declared lost the fraudster will get paid.

californiatreat UPDATE: even though Poshmark thankfully cancelled and gave me a refund, the tracking for this order was marked as “delivered”. It’s been 3 days and I have yet to receive an actual package from this seller. Big 🖕🏽to this scammer in Ennis, TX.

mainandmarket Purchased a Filson bag from a brand new user...tried to do some diligence but went forward with purchase because it was a really cool and rare item. (red flag #1) I noticed it was relisted again by another new seller (red flag #2) and reached out to the other buyer that we were both probably being scammed. Which we were. Long story and Posh did cancel order. My address was altered to a nearby location so it would pass through my local Post office. It was a pair of socks. LOL.

wmayea Thank u for this. I bought headphones that were incorrectly labeled by fault. Poshmark had me ship them back to the seller - to try and fraud someone else? I couldn’t leave a review either Or warn others.
