BOLESLAWIEC Polish Pottery Peacock & Polka Dot Blue/Green Oval Casserole Dish. A lovely Handmade 12”x9” Oval with the Hand-painted Polish patterns of: polka dot on inside and peacock eye around the exterior. It is still has vivid blue and green colors and lovely shiny glaze, though in used condition. No chips or cracks. It has some crazing on inside of casserole. See photos. Maker’s mark. Polish pottery, specifically from Bolesławiec, Poland. The mark includes the letters "WR" within an oval, topped with a crown-like design, and the words "HAND-MADE IN POLAND" below It is lead and cadmium-free and safe for use in ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, and freezers. Known for being chip-resistant and durable. ** I have the larger oval listed as well. Measures: 12”L x 9”W x 2.25”T. Weight: 3 lbs.
