BLACK ONYX BALL NECKLACE ITALIAN FROM SARDINIA ITALY FLOWER END CHARMS

This wonderful necklace was purchased on a trip visiting family in Sardinia, Italy many years ago. In a silver tone, it features a 3/4” black onyx ball with 2 smaller balls on a 20” chain. From Ruby’s, a designer based out of Sardinia, it’s made in Italy, & marked (we Italians say “marcato “) with a circular shaped hang tag at the back closure that says I Tre Monelli, which translates to “the three brats”, I can only assume that means the three black balls! Purchased from the Emporio Ventura Sant’Antioco, (see the store sticker) it’s still in its original packaging from Ruby’s that says Sardinia Bijoux, Creazione Artigianali made in Sardegna, which translates to “Sardinia Jewels, Artisan Creation, made in Sardinia”. On either side of the large ball are elaborately decorated metal flowers that hug the ball & give lovely interest to the piece! In EUC, it’s been in my jewelry armoire for probably 20 years now, I don’t remember even wearing it actually! The lobster claw has lost a bit of shine, but it’s on the back of the neck, so who sees that anyway! It’s really minimal, but I like to give full disclosure.
