IN MY HONEST OPINION THIS YEARS VERSION IS BETTER & IM ASSUMING THEY LISTENED TO THE REVIEWS & TWEAKED THE FORMULA FOR THE BETTER. THIS YEAR, THE CHERRY IS MORE PROMINENT AND THE PISTACHIO NOTE IS MORE SUBTLE. ALSO IN THE DRY DOWN, I GET WAY MORE VANILLA. This opens with a PERFECT sweet, slightly syrupy, candied Cherry. The Cherry note is rich, bold & addictive! It comes off very realistic & not synthetic. Imagine pulling the juiciest, ripest dark red cherry from a jar of maraschino cherries & the sugary sweet juice dripping off ever so slightly. Cherry is the star here & the prominent note! There is Vanilla to tie the notes together & adds a touch of creaminess. The pistachio note is VERY subtle so if you don't like pistachio don't let it deter you from at least giving it a sniff, it's very very light but I think it was the perfect note to add bc it gives it some depth. It's a very alluring, sexy & sweet scent, Im obsessed with this one! The longevity is great for being a body mist bc 6hours later I could still get whiffs of it! It doesn't smell fake or cheap but like a sophisticated sweet warm scent.
