msclaudiasvault You don't want it to be too wide or you will fall through the hole and that will defeat the purpose. Only the direct back of your bottom should fit through it. The opening is about 20 1/2 inches wide on the widest part. The foam is soft enough where it shouldn't impact anything regardless of your size.
