BASERANGE The Vein Tee In Mom Sand ~ Naturally Dyed With Kareel 100% Organic Cotton Made in Portugal Size L ~ Large NWT~ NIP The Baserange Vein tee is a form-fitting organic cotton rib tee with a high boatneck and exposed contrast seams in brown and a marigold yellow-orange. The lettuce edge at the neckline and hems make this tee stand out from the rest. The color Mom Sand on this tee is a creamy butter yellow. I say on this tee because the color varies from shirt to shirt as this is naturally dyed with kareel and due that the color varies. Here is what it says on the Baserange website: "Naturally dyed with kareel - due to the nature of dye method color may vary. The dye kareel (Terminalia chebula) comes from the myrobalan fruit and provides a natural mordant for textiles. The resulting colour when used for dyeing is yellow, which is one of the most common colours of natural dyes. Because of its high tannin content, it can also be used to create green and black dye when paired with iron. Kareel has medicinal uses including antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. The fruit also plays an important role in Ayurvedic medicine." So this one is butter yellow as pictured. The stock shots on the model, show a more ecru. Keep in mind that the intensity of the yellow will change with skin tone as this is slightly sheer. This looks great with cutoffs, denim and anything you can throw at it. Runs small so consider sizing up. Condition: NWT & NIP. Excellent with no issues.
