BALENCIAGA 2003 Black First (Single), Pewter (Silver) HW

A rare find for the Balenciaga lover/collector! This is from the 2003 season, when Balenciaga was using silver (pewter) hardware instead of aged brass and simple leather tags instead of engraved silver plates. The leather is silky smooth and buttery soft. There are obvious signs of wear, most apparent along the top edge of the bag’s opening. The corners are just starting to show early signs of discoloration and wear. The laces on the handles are in better condition than a lot of older bags, but there are some stray hairline threads. The handles have softened but still feel firm. The lining is clean with no rips, holes, snags or stains. No mirror, but there is a spare tassel. Overall, the bag is clean with no major scratches, scuffs or water marks. Includes a generic white sleeper.
