BALENCIAGA Black Suede Multi Zip Moto Satchel w/tag Vintage 2002 pre First City

A Balenciaga Collector’s Dream!! Vintage Balenciaga from 2001/02. Before he settled on the traditional Moto style thats still being produced today, Nicolas Ghesquière created and released a few other styles of the Moto bag with zippers and tassels. The suede multi zip is the one we see most often, although this particular style is somewhat rare. Accented with multiple small zip pockets and tassels, this is an open top tote. The pocket on the back of the bag is large enough to hold a cell phone, although it will likely poke out from the top (unless you use a smaller phone). Instead of a mirror which was commonly included later, this one includes a luggage tag hooked onto the handle. Approx 11 inches across and 10 inches high. It lies flat when empty but expands with contents. This style did not come with a shoulder strap, but I will include the one I purchased specifically for this bag. Its a 30 inch calf leather strap with silver hardware. The original tag is pinned inside. It appears to have never been or rarely carried, tho I can’t say that for sure (I never used this bag myself). There is one minor flaw in the suede on the backside of the bag along the top edge of the bag. Will come with a generic sleeper.
