It's cotton. Not heavy but a nice weight. No not a true 3x. Put in the description that it fits more like a L/XL.

Ok. Lol. If you wanted a L it's perfect!! If you wanted a 3x, not for you. It's really pretty. Was just not big enough for me. I hate it too cuz I really love it!!!
