Aztec Warrior or Priest Elaborate Headpiece By Giovanni Schoeman

This Giovanni Schoeman vintage El Arte Azteca figure is a collectible piece of art. Schoeman (1940-1980) was a well known innovative sculptor in the 1960's - 1980's before being murdered at the age of 40 by his business partner. His MAYAN AZTEC sculpture is made up of green Malachite composite with specks of red, aqua, and various colors. The bust is of an Aztec warrior or priest with an elaborate headdress on a Wooden Base. Amazing details in his face and very unique features in the large decorative headpiece. This is certainly an attention grabber and statement piece!
